Is anyone here going to the Michael Jackson memorial service at the Staples Center?

I wish I was, but unfortunately I can't get down there.

To attend the Michael Jackson Memorial Service, it's $25 dollars for the general public to sit in the stands and they are selling t-shirts.

Michael's close friend Elizabeth Taylor is expected to attend, along with Diana Ross.



But will La Toya be there? Remember her from Celebrity Big Brother?



She should have won.

She was one of the first to arrive at the hospital. I imagine she'll be there as the brass coffin is encased in concrete (which is allegedly what they're planning).

Gonna have to give it a pass, but L.A. is in full lunacy mode: the local network promises continuous coverage from four a.m. 'til whenever and reporters are breathlessly insisting that "this is the biggest thing that's ever happened." Yeah...nobody gave a damn about JFK's funeral, did they?

Just announced: Ms. Taylor won't be making it, but Mr. Jackson's mortal remains may.
