Prince and the Montreux Jazz Festival have teamed up to get people excited for Princes upcoming double-content on July 18th by offering a streaming version of an as-of-yet-unreleased song from the Purple Ones vault.

The song, In A Large Room With No Light, was originally recorded for the unreleased Dream Factory album but has been widely circulated as a bootleg for over a decade. The version on the Montreux site is quite a bit different, completely redone in, dare I say, a cocktail jazz flavor.

Prince will be headlining the legendary festival with two concerts on Saturday, July 18th. Just like his earlier concerts in Los Angeles this year, these two concerts will be played in one evening. The Montreux Jazz Festival takes place at the Stravinski Auditorium in Montreux, Switzerland. Should prove to be an interesting night for fans of Prince.

nah I don't like it.

Not a fan of that type of Jazz anyway. That whole "do be do be do" shit in time with the guitar. Sounds more George Benson than Prince.
