In todays Observer there is an ad for a double Brel CD and say it contains 'previously unreleased material.

Strangely it also states that Brel influenced Mel Smith and David Bowie.

Also just heard Johnnie WalkerBBC Radio2) say that the segue from Rosalyn to Here Comes The Night is one of the best segues of all time.

How bout that!

ps. finished my 100th marathon on sat in 3hr.46 mins, not my best but after such a long someback I was happy to even finish!

Cheers Lee

I was worried after a wet motorbike ride to Pool in Wharfdale, my chest was frozen and my left arm ached.

By noon I was okay and at 1pm it all went well. I feel shattered but it was my first since last years foot injury.

I had troponin and potassium issues this year but since reducing the runs down to five miles every other day all was okay.

Cheers on your 100th. And do keep an eye on the potassium - I had a friend with a genetic deficiency who was so nervous about it that he moved out of Dublin and back to the States. He didn't think they could recognize the problem in an emergency room. He was a little paranoid, I'd say.

Lol! I presumed he had a potassium deficiency, which is not unusual. Troponin levels often rise following exercise but should return to normal within 24 hours of a marathon.

Congrats on the 100th marathon. happy.gif

I've been working it out and that's approximately 100 more than I've done.
