I recently met a guy through a friend that was a friend and companion of DJ. Apprently, they were good friends. He said Bowie always tried to visit Derek when in London especially in the years he was in ill health. Sometimes Iman would be there also.

He said Bowie was one of the nicest celebs he met (DJ had loadsa celeb friends)and vey intelligent. He said when in a room he just oozed charisma.
How kind David is to his friends.

NB for those that don't know Derek Jarmam he was a indpendent film maker. You either liked or hated his work. I'm afraid I'm in the latter

I enjoyed The Garden and Caravaggio, other films like Jubilee somewhat less.

I'd put your level of intelligent wit at around that
of a 6-year-old girl.

You didn't notice the Bowie reference then??? Not that you'd know it from reading your odd posts - this is a Bowie forum. The Bowiephiles here will have noticed and enjoyed the subtle reference.

I remember once watching a documentary about Mr Jarman.

I once went on a trip to Dungeness.

I arrived on a miniature railway...

the landscape had a certain 'alien' quality about it.

For me , quite intense , yet with certain elements of charm .

a Strange day in many respects.
