I am sure the answer is NO but...... August 8 2009 at 11:02 AM
AJ
(Login ajowen ) BW Membera friend of mine INSISTS that Bowie was on "Breakfast Televeision" during the last few days, sitting on a sofa being interviewed. (She can't remember which chanel) I told her it must have been a repeat but she insists it wasn't. What would Bowie be doing on British TV with nothing to promote? Please humour me!
DID IT HAPPEN?

I remember BBC breakfast tv doing a piece on the Serious Moonlight tour. Don't think he was interviewed in the studio though. Think it was a hotel interview.

This friend insists it was a live interview WITHIN THE LAST WEEK.
I am convinced she is wrong now - so no prob.

Your friend is pulling your leg. David has not been on any morning tv show recently. He was last spotted peeling the spuds.

Could it have been Rob Thomas? He's out promoting his second album at the moment and everytime I see the cover I think it looks like a young DB:

Looks like a young Eddie Izzard to me.

Mr. Thomas is very fetching, but Mr. Bowie doesn't look like that now. That might be a clue. Nail me to my car

So he's not likely to be interviewed.

mr. thomas is a "james hunt" and should never be compared to the supreme gentleman.

Oh I agree wholeheartedly. I detest Mr Hunt and all his works. I was merely thinking that he bears a passing resemblance and that AJ's friend might be confused. ____________________________________________

It would be easy to get confused!

Sweety seems to know something? Was Bowie in England then? Which TV station please?
