"Bowie was apparently selected for the honour because of his musical contribution to arachnid world the 1972 concept album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars."

- Should have been: 'Bowie was apparently selected for the honour because of his musical contribution to arachnid world the 1987 concept tour The Glass Spider Tour.'

Hi all

Actually it could be argued the spider should be called either Mick, Trev or Woody as technically db played the role of Ziggy....and was not a spider.... wink.gif happy.gif
