With the sure to be success of Beatles Rock Band do you see other artists jumping in the 'Rock Band' waters? Ziggy would be a wonderful era to explore on the game.

I was listening to one of the game developers explain that their selections tend to be guitar-intensive, which wouldn't necessarily exclude Mr. Bowie, but it would be interesting to try fabricating a DIY Brian Eno setup for the Berlin period iteration of the game.

I could see it happening possibly, bearing in mind there is an Ziggy app for iphone / Touch. wink.gif

From a marketing point of view it would depend maybe on Bowie's popularity amongst the general masses as to whether there would be sufficient profit return? I mean every person and their dog from across every age spectrum loves the Beatles, I'm not sure we can say that Bowie is loved to quite the same extent? happy.gif

The Beatles managed to make near-perfect pop music throughout the course of the band's existance. I don't think one can make the same claim for Mr. Bowie...it was only intermittently his goal. He's made some wonderful pop songs, but they're just not that many of them compared with the four lads from Liverpool.

I think a Bowie Rock Band would be a good way of resurging the Bowie catalogue. I mean Jump was one of the first interactive cd-roms and of course Omikron (hours). And wayyy back when on the Commodore The Labyrinth!

I see it as a possibilty. I think if it could include some 'at the beeb' recordings and material from different tours ...it could be good.

Years ago there was an interactive thing called 'Highway 61 Revisted' which was almost a 'this is your life' thing about Bob Dylan, featuring unreleased live videos, demos, out takes, unseen pictures, studio receipts, etc.

A Bowie one would be excellent. I'm surprised DB/EMI haven't tapped into something like this already particularly with Neil Young's Decade release featuring similar stuff.
