After bowing out of fronting the Thin White Duke tribute band last year, i've been working on my own music.
This has been a massive learning curve for me as i've been struggling with production and mixing techniques, but have finally produced something which can now be downloaded for FREE at art rock label mrsvee recordings.
I liked it especially the second and third track.
Sounding a bit like Andy Bell in parts on the second and you can really hear the Bowie influence on the third.
Best of luck with it i'll give it a proper listen through phones later as there's only one crappy little speaker on this laptop.

Not bad! You have a distinctive vocal style that you could do a lot of interesting things with in terms of multi-tracking and perhaps different mic set-ups. I would love to hear how your lead would sound with, say, a U87 or KMS105 placed distantly in a large, "boomy" environment, say a concrete stairwell.
Can I make a suggestion? I hope so. Your piano arrangement on "Blinding" was a bit on the safe side. A bit like Keane with the chords only on the quarter notes. Maybe add a few carefully-placed flourishes (before the choruses maybe) to give the song a little lift before changing up your chord progression.
Hope my feedback was productive. You've got some good material coming along. Maybe I'll post my works-in-progress up here someday, too.

Blinding does remind me of Shadowman, with the drama and gentle accompaniment. Your voice starts off sounding bizarrely old and then gets better and better.
Push Me Pull You makes me think of Miracle Goodnight because of the slightly whimsical backing refrain with the desperation in the vocals - sounds great though.
Hallucination is groovy, way too short. I wanted to hear more.
To summarise, I really liked them, probably liked the last 2 tracks better than the 1st one, but I was thinking ... I'd pay money for this.
Would you mind filling it for Bowie? We could all argue about your music instead

Thanks for the nice comments! I really struggled with these tracks over about 9 months, tinkering with mixing and production. I still think it sounds amateurish production wise, but it does have the side effect of giving it a sort of classic 70's sound!
In terms of piano playing, that's just me not being able to play piano . In fact these tracks mark the first time I've really played keyboards or bass for that matter.
The "Blinding Light" track itself i struggled with the most. I still don't think i quite captured the instrumental swell at the end that i wanted, but there you go.
"Hallucination" is purposely short. It's inspired by "Nothing To Be Desired" which is just a short piece of nonsense, but it works. Also "Breaking Glass" which Bowie and Eno kept delibately short. I guess you could call it "Anti-prog"
Here's me performing Blinding Light live in the studio:
