32 years have sailed by. And, as luck would have it, 'pon a hill a green bird sits.

20th century boy - one of the greatest singles of all time - from the crashing opening E chords through to the brilliantly simple riff. God I wish I was 15 again........

This was Bolan at his best in my opinion - this along with those other great singles - Telegram Sam, Metal Guru, Get It On, Children Of The Revolution etc.

The 70's really were rather a good time.

Your first obsession - Marc Bolan or Todd Rundgren?

Stunning charismatic performer....

my fave track, well.... void of the 'bubblegum' beat, it's COSMIC DANCER, truly beautiful.

wonder what he'd be doing now? I bet he & DB would've done some more work together, and I expect that Placebo would've been involved somewhere along the line..

I laughed at that bit where Tony Visconti says that he thought Bolan's eye make-up was okay for on stage but that it was a bit much in the recording studio.....

Wonderful times indeed.
