Having A `Timeless Flight` Tonight.

Just sat back an hour ago, and in a quiet house, put on Steve Harley`s TIMELESS FLIGHT album.

Really lovely record.
One of my best mates, kept onto me about Harley in late 80s, and whilst liking one or two, it took hearing ALL THE MEN ARE HUNGRY to really appreciate the guy.

He`s a man of conflicting personalities.
Deeply religious but acerbic in most views.
As for liking Thatcher ... he had money by that point i guess happy.gif

Actually steve harley was one of the first gigs I went to.I agree TD, TF is an excellent album.Have just bought a 3CD set of Steve Harley/Cockney Rebel stuff which has some real classic'on it.'Mr Soft' 'Mr.Raffles' 'Sebatsian'.Its a shame that radio doesn't give these other tracks as much air time as 'Make Me Smile'?

I certainly didnt agree with her depletion of whole communities.
Her `asset` stripping of the country, of which only the wealthy benefit from, now.
Certainly didnt agree with her using money from oil reserves, that was agreed in parliament in early 70s to be used for education & Health, to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.

But, i guess thats democracy for ya happy.gif
