I'm getting it for Christmas. Can't wait. I have read reviews and talked with some that have it. They say it is GREAT! I'm glad that 'Dear Prudence' is on it!!!
'You start out wrinkled and you cry...you end up wrinkled and you die.'
Yes indeed. I was singing Prudence yesterday. It's quite an imaginative set list really, leaving out such crowd pleasers as "Love Me Do", "She Loves You" etc.
They're also gonna make whole albums available to purchase and download. First up is "Abbey Road" in October, followed by Rubber Soul and Sgt Pepper.
We're seriously thinking of taking up a collection and getting it for the office - sometimes I just have to say: 'God bless the cartoon grift'. About twenty-five bucks a head is all it'd take.
I have lots of Guitar Hero/Rock Band games. Considered getting this one but not a Beatles fan really and ended up getting GH5 since it has some Bowie in it. Maybe I can discover Beatles music with the game later on around Christmas.
I can't see the appeal of these Rock Band games.Surely it's just a case of pressing buttons in time with the beat.
Scott.Have you tried the motion plus? I fancy one of the tennis games or Tiger Woods but I can't believe it's as responsive as it's supposed to be.
Yes it's a glorified Simon says, but it gets tricky on harder difficulty settings. Solo's with odd out of time bits, hammer-on's pull-offs. The main addictive part of it is trying to play it flawlessly as that's how you rack up the big points. Drums is very good as you are pretty much playing the drums!
I haven't tried Wii motion plus yet. I was tempted by the Tennis one as well as i read a good review. Wii Sports Resort also uses it and comes bundled with it

I saw a guy playing the drums in HMV on Oxford Street and was very impressed.
I must have stood there for 30mins!!!

What I find interesting also is that the Beatles version in non-competitive. They insisted (in true idealistic Sixties fashion) that there be no winners and losers. Except, of course, the mockery of your bandmates. Maybe they'll release a version where you have to play against the Blue Meanies.
