At the top of this palace-like place, assembled with almost apparent care, were tiny shining objects, glass, beads, dew-drops.

The Spiders web looks awesome, what is it made of?

A lovely space for contemplation. The web looks like it was made out of some sort of fishing-net sized rope, suggesting a very large spider indeed, with a taste for sparkly things.
