Don't get me going on the state of the government.......
Labour is like a slowly unfolding car crash - one wants to look away but one can't. They are blindly rolling on to their inevitable demise - there is no saving them.
Seeing the Kinnocks take their snouts out of the EU trough long enough to clap like demented penguins at Brighton made me feel physically sick.
Having watched Gordon Brown's speech yesterday, and his interview on Sky this morning, the only words left to describe him are Dead Man Walking - still, at least there's a DB link of sorts.
I was just pointing out the alternative which is doom laiden with fear.
I think the British Postal Service should remain Crown Property. >>
No I Know you weren't LBTT because you have the same sense of humour as me
Just ignore me LOL! The situation with regards the GPO, the dire state of the country and decisions made within it, the total lack of a real alternative political choice, and the total decline of Labour and it's core values, is a sensitive and touchy subject with me at the moment.

One could say that these days Labour are always crashing in the same car and are performing in front of the public gaze their very own version of Rock n Roll suicide. A few more db links of sorts
Labour could do a lot worse than elect as Labour leader Alan Johnson a former postie and a former leader of the postal section of our union the CWU Still he would probably turn out to be as much a turn coat and corrupt as the rest of them, that's how much confidence I have in our political system and those who jump on the gravy train within it at the moment
If those Tory cunts get in the country's even more fucked than it is now. Those mindless cunts would bring back slavery if they thought it was a vote winner.

Well said. I honestly think some people forget what complete useless fucked up shits they were.
I suggest you read my post again. Did I say I would be voting Conservative? Go on, did I? A direct answer of 'yes' or 'no' will do.
In fact I haven't decided who I will vote for yet.
Whilst we're on the subject though, here's why I won't be voting Labour........
The 10p tax fiasco.
The quagmire that is Iraq.
The slaughterhouse that is Afghanistan.
The dodgy dossier.
The failure to deal with city bonuses.
The fact that Brown is happy to comment on Subo and other trivial matters in cringingly ridiculous attempts to foster favour with ordinary people (I think Subos her name) but totally fail to deal with the real issues facing this country.
The cabinet shuffle joke.
Mandy.
The fact that Brown is unable to agree to debate directly with Cameron and Clegg through a fear (probably justified) that they will make him look, err, well, really rather silly.
The disastrous sell-off of British gold reserves that cost this country countless billions.
Browns failure to deal with Baroness Scotland.
The Labour driven target setting that has fucked our law and order processes - as a policeman for over twenty years I can say without doubt that crime is rising due to nonsensical Home Office target-setting. The last 10 years have been catastrophic in this area.
Michael Martin.
The pathetic response to the expenses debacle.
The fact that 50% of all 11 year-olds cannot read, write and add up properly when they leave primary school - this coupled with Labours false claims about education improving when really exams now are notoriously easier that they were 20 years ago. Not that I've got any to speak of, mind you!
A Home Office that was declared to be not fit for purpose.
Our pathetic immigration systems.
The EU and our role within it.
The Special Relationship.
MRSA coupled with the astronomical spending on the NHS.
The failure to take a grip of and deal with our out-dated tax systems.
The tweaking of stamp duty that can only be described as laughable.
The VAT nonsense.
The banking nightmare scenario that someone with the right background (like a former chancellor for example) should have foreseen and dealt with.
I could go on but life's too short and I have to go out now...........
Look at that group of people on that rag!!! They are not Joe public. These are people who have a grudge against the government because of loved ones lost through wars or violence.
Acts that can occur under any government.
Least you forget the damage left by 18 years of Tories.
You have a very short selective memory.
Thank goodness people like you don't bother to vote

I just hope the public haven't forgotten how the Tories fucked this country when they were last in power. I'm not happy with the current government, but I wouldn't trust those Conservative twats. I'll be voting Labour slightly begrudgingly, but I couldn't live with myself if I stayed at home and allowed the Tories to destroy what's left of our industry and public services. A vote for any other party is a complete waste of a vote.

Of course, this isn't the be all of economics but when I visited Britain in 2001, one British Pound was equivalent to almost exactly 3 Australian dollars. Today it is 1.8.
