In a Q magazine from late 2002 Moby was asked if he had any plans to collaborate with David Bowie. He replied:
"Doesn't matter how busy I am if David Bowie asks for my help I help him. As well as performing live with him & remixing 2 of his songs (Dead Man Walking & Sunday) David Bowie got me to record some piano and guitar on some tracks he's working on."
Any idea what these tracks are? As it was 2002 and Moby used the present tense, did Moby play on any of the Reality songs? Or more likely these songs are unreleased and perhaps something we can look forward to in the future.

On the topic of Moby, I think he's made about the best album anyone is likely to hear in 2009, although not all critics agree. It is awesome he would drop everything for Bowie.
Mr E, I know the quote was from 7 years ago, that's why the title of the thread is Moby quote from 2002.
The point is that these songs which Bowie got Moby to perform on have not yet surfaced, unless they were reworked and incorporated into Reality. But you'd think that if DB asked a star musician such as Moby to perform on a track he wouldn't just remove his contributions and redo them.
Back in 2002, after the success of multi million selling Play & on the eve of the 18 album release, Moby was at the top of his commercial game, so it's hard to see how Moby could have 'more of a life of his own now' than he did back then, so I bet Moby would still drop everything to work with db again.
From what I am hearing from others it sounds like I might purchase this. One of my friends claimed Bowie was singinging on the album but I've seen nothing about it anywhere. I've even looked at on line reviews and Moby's website.
