What are the odds on this book being mysteriously shelved at the 11th hour?

I spitz on this book.

So far, it sounds like a lot of old stories being passed off as new.

... hopefully SOMETHING new emerges (but certainly nothing that has "hit the media" so far).

It could be my time of the month, Strawie.

But news flashes that "David Bowie Reveals Story Behind Famous Mismatched Eyes" really isn't too inspiring for people hoping for new stories and perspectives.

I am sure the book must have some new tales to tell.

I found it at my local bookstore and have dipped in. There's signs of sloppy research or possibly editing, and he really should have watched TMWFTE again, but there's some good writing here and there. There's interludes that can be described as A Fan's Notes, and the one that starts the boook is very funny.

It's out here in the States. Weren't you at the launch party ? Maybe instead of slagging off Mr Spitz's book you should write one of your own. happy.gif
