I've never seen any smoking in Star Trek the original series.

"Brief Encounter" they pratically live on cigarettes in that film.

Films where everyone smokes or films that make you need to light up? Just about every decent WWII film does both.

We watched Village Of The Damned at the weekend. Made in 1960, based on John Wyndham's The Midwich Cuckoos. I probably hadn't seen it since the early 70s. I was amused by the local Doctor, played by the wonderful Laurence Naismith, who when he didn't have a fag in his gob was lighting one up, putting one out or cadging one off George Sanders. The censors would have a fit now.
