Last night Morrissey performed at Alexandra Palace and this was my first gig at this venue. I have to say that the sound was superb. After the Royal Albert Hall gig last week i though that it may not compare but it did. Overall Moz put on a good show but did look a bit tired (He has apunnishing tour schedule and 19 more gigs). I have my doubts whether he will make it. He was in good humour but not quite as up for it as thr RAH. Overall though it was a pretty good gig. The set list was rearanged from RAH with a few omissions and few new tracks added (see my RAH review elsewhere for more detail on thre songs). First of the gang to die (usually the last song) was inserted early on and replaced by the 'Years of Refusal' opener 'Someone is Squeesing my Skull' which was great as I hadn't heard that live before. Added also was the Smiths classic 'Ask' with 'Nowhere Fast' removed frpom the set. Another swap was 'Why don't you find out for yourself' from 'Vauxhall and I'. This was replaced by 'Moon over Kentucky'. Moz cam on with a jovioul 'Bon Soir'. Later he joked 'On this ver special night....(Nov 5th), Guy Fawkes was a Genious'. Any way it was a good show but I didn't get any of Moz's shirt unlike RAH.
