My brother and his friend went to Rio for a holiday a few years ago. It was all officially booked, classy hotel, the lot. So, they dumped their stuff off, got showered and went out for a walk. They'd just got to the bottom of the steps on the forecourt of the hotel when they were approached by a gang. The leader put a gun to my brothers head and robbed him of $30 and his belt! All this in less than two minutes after leaving the hotel for the first time!
