Look at his facial wrinkles in the photo where he's wearing the white T-Shirt beside Iman, and compare it to more recent ones. Either he's had some plastic surgery done, or he's got a team of Photoshoppers on the payroll working overtime!

Exactly, and this is 2012. The last pic I saw of him was (I think) taken in November 2011 and he's definitely had some sort of facial wrinkle reduction in the past 20 years.

Oh, come off it, his face has filled out that's all. He's stopped smoking and filled out a bit. You can tell when someone had surgery and fillers etc and he hasn't. He looks like a 65 year old.

Don't think he's had surgery but botox wouldn't surprise me.

Dental implants fill your face out a bit. I remember him saying in an interview that he had them done because his teeth were falling out, a result of all that smoking. It's amazing he didn't develop lung cancer!

I've resisted this all day.

He will almost certainly be suffering from Chronic Airway Limitation (Chronic Pulmonary Obstructive Disease) and is probably on prednisolone. That will fill out his face and produce waxy skin, amongst other side-effects.

Personally I don't think he's had anything done apart from teeth ,in the pic with Iman it looks like the sun is in their faces ,plus Bowie always had a very expressive grin which I M O makes his whole face light up ,the truth is that Bowie has probably aged a lot over the last ten years ,but isn't it always like that ,can't stay young forever not even Bowie !

As for the smoking ,I think Bowie's voice is and always has been incredible for the amount of ciggys he did in his heyday ,I stopped smoking about ten years ago and can tell the difference health wise and I probably smoked 30 a day 40 at weekends , Bowie smoked like a chimney happy.gif in fact I bet he was lighting his next one off his last one happy.gif I mean them bloody Gitanes ,christ they were like bleedin cigars sad.gif 4 packs a day 80 jeez sad.gif .

With him smoking all those cigs each day it must have been a nightmare to give them up. Didn't have much choice though did he! I have never smoked, so the idea of smoking 80 plus cigs a day, especially Gitanes, just makes me feel sick sad.gif

I always thought that Bowie had had a face lift in the run up to Hours in 99. By the end of the Earthing tour he was looking older but by the time of the Placebo Brits performance he had long har (scar covering?) and was fresh faced. He even sang give me money for a change of face. Just a thought

almost every photo today is being photoshopped, so bowie numerous pics will be photshopped too, looking at the reality photoshoots i'm pretty sure much is photoshopped.
When the 2011 rihanna photos were shown, the one where he's alone in a black suit shows a pretty normal 64 year old imo

what a beautiful thread, tell the others.
