Couldn't work out when the interview was recorded. Would guess around '99.

I was under the impression that is a new recording. The first time I have pretty much heard him since 2004.

Just learned that Bowie used the Penny Whistle on Moonage Daydream. Interesting sort behind that.

Unfortunately, that is just due to the clever editing by Redbeard, where he mentions it being the 40th anniversary. In The Studio was the name of a radio show Bowie appeared on. Think this recording is actually from 1998.

I don't know if his voice was permanently like that.

This is his voice from Sep 26th the same year, introducing CeeLo Green (Gnarls Barkley). Sounds a lot healthier than on the Nokia advert. Also, the Extras appearance was 2006 too. Question is, which was last?
