It's Ticketmaster, what do you expect? They got the ticket monopoly worldwide so they can be as greedy as they want.

I bought two tickets recently from ticketbastard. they were $105 each, plus a $25 service fee. Which cost me $260 total. Corporate greed at it's worst.

well

another world is possible.

I went looking at venue pricing policies as I rememberd that McCaslin was playing gigs in NY in recent days.

He was at the Village Vanguard - and there, ticket fees seems to be only 3$.

I paid the exhorbitant fee and...

...caught the show. Was quite impressed by McAslin and by the drummer.
I would compare them to recent King Crimson (which is not normally my cup of tea).

They`re off to Europe now. Worth catching IMO.
They played "Look back in anger".

Ì believe that they played "Lazarus" as well in Montréal (but not "Warzawa").

from https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/donny-mccaslin-63d786cb.html :

Most played songs

1. Warszawa (9)
2. Look Back in Anger (8)
3. Lazarus (8)
4. Shake Loose (8)
5. Beyond Now (7)

Did anyone see them at Ronnie Scott's?

Apparently the three Bowie tracks they played were Lazarus, Warszawa and Look Back In Anger.

Quote "I bet it was lovely hearing those"

I saw Donny and Co. at the Festival de Jazz de San Sebastián, very impressed with the band.
Recorded some of the concert and have put some of the evening's highlights on youtube.
