I'll give you your history and yes, the SJ has a huge edge in the Anavet when you go way back. I'll even go as far as saying as a whole, the league is stronger. But the MJ is to the point where the top teams can compete with the SJ's in any given year. The last 6 years have been dead even. The team with home ice has won and twice the visiting league took it to the full seven.

With all that said though Humboldt is steam rolling everyone again and even though Melville has a shot I would think the Bronco's (who crushed everyone in your own league as well) would be the favorites to beat the MJ and maybe even win the RBC again. No shame losing to a team like that whomever comes out of the MJ. They kicked the sh*t outta everyone in Saskatchewan like they we're nothing so why would we stand a better shot? All we can do is wait and see.

I had a chance to watch Humbolt play Melville. Both are very strong and will be tough to beat, that being said I think the Terriers are better suited to play either of them than Selkirk.
To beat either of them you will need to play more disiplined then the Terriers were last year against Humbolt and will need to play as at Team and not individuals, again as we saw last year Humbolt moved the Puck around as good as any Team I have seen.

Ya the Terriers are better suited to go out 4 straight like they did last year as well.

In the SJ, if Melville can raise their discipline level and stay out of the box, they can win this series. Bronco power play is deadly. In MJ, the Terriers are the stronger team, but Steelers possibly have the better goaltender. For the Terriers to win, they need to generate traffic/screens in front of Armour. Cant glove what you cant see...
