it doesn't matter who they get to coach, the thing is they (The G Flett's and K. Dick's) over there have to start treating people with some respect. Let the coach go. Don't renew his contract but at least treat people with some respect. Have the balls to sit down with the man and discuss the issues instead of walking up to him with the letter already in your hand. Very professional! Right! But I guess if you know how they typically operate that's par for the course from them. Those that have fought their way to a decent life, and those that have so many stories to tell. To see an elderly lady proudly selling her leather works is part of this countries history. .93 is right in that the letter R stands for reality but remember that the reality of things is that OCN owns the team. The letter R also stands for RESPECT. PBDC did not respect Hedley in the way they handled his letting go. They did not sit down and discuss the vision for the team and the aspects of renewing or not renewing his contract. PBDC is guilty of disrespect and I know that "respect" is a teaching of the Native traditional life. The reality is that PBDC were not role models for this teaching of respect. How can they pass respect on to future teams or their youth if they themselves do not show respect and what it is. Maybe the fans of the Blizzard would not have been so pissed off if PBDC sat down with Hedley and gave him the respect that he deserved. Disrespect equals hurt feelings and disappointment and confusion.

I wouldn't doubt it , Hedley is the only guy that would give a "C" and 3rd line minutes to a guy with his limited ability,( only able to block shots, does not make a decent player) with a real coach he wouldn't even see the ice.
