When you win, the ref was good. When you lose he was bad. Heather was no worse than Loepky although Selkirk fans thought Loepky was just fine after awarding them a cheesy penaly shot with the game on the line. No difference. Win....ref was ok. Lose, he sucked. |

Heather let alot of things go for the Terriers plain and simple. Firt period wasn't bad but when the crowd screamed over Alexiuk's hit then Heather completely listened to the crowd. Even the linesmen missed offside calls. Twice at the very end of the 3rd period the puck was being covered by the Terriers and Heather didn't call down the 1st time and the oly reason he called the second time is because of the linesman. |

Portage fans are exactly the same. In the words of Bob Marley..."Before you point fingers make sure your hands are clean." |

I think they all miss some stuff that goes on but could you say that they're letting the boys play??? Neither team are little angels so don't think one team gets anymore help from the ref than the other - and I dislike refs with a passion!! |

Oh waaaaaaa blow me
If heather called Payne for holding the stich on every faceoff
he be in the box all night
Nixrorfs offside was a joke Frick he was standing still on the blueline
Calls were missed both ways no favorite there
Cross checks and stick infractions will be called all night get over it
If you wernt so tired you wouldn't have to hook and hold all night long
That what two lines will get ya....... Now get some sleep you need the rest |

Selkirk fans can creatively complain.
Can't beleive the gibberish that is spewed from the dullards from Portage. What a bunch of slack jawed yokels. |

It funny to hear the complaints about him from last night.
Everytime a Portage player got bodychecked Terriers fans were calling Heather Brutal. Then when Larson nailed Ellement in the third they wanted him suspened.
Did he call a good game? No. Did terrier fans call the Alexiuk penatly? Yes, Did Terrier fans call the Payne penalty? Yes.
But he was equally bad against the steelers.
Live with it. The reffing isnt good. Not everyone will be happy with each call or missed call.
Terriers got the bounces, Ellement played great and they Won.
Selkirk has to regroup and come to play again Sat. |

If Heather had called all the stick infractions on the Steeler D, they would have been in the box all night. |

I think you'd better stop chugging back the beer so that you can actually remember what is happening at these games. Did you not see stick infractions from the Terriers? You are blind if you didn't. Where were the calls for those? The Steel are gonna pound the dogs sorry asses tomorrow night so hard they are gonna feel like they are in prison!!!! |

Why is it that the losing team always thinks the reffing is bad? I think the reffing is bad all the time, doesn't matter if you win or lose, the reffing is bad. Stop blaming losses on the ref, we have had these same bad refs for many years, and I don't think they are going anywhere. The reffing has been bad, both ways in all 3 games this series, and I am sure Saturday night will be no different. Losses are the teams, not the refs, deal with it. | |
