| Is selkirk in so much trouble that it has to milk people that just want to watch a game?
27$ for an adult and a 5 year old child is ridiculous.
In portage that costs $12 in case you didn't know.
Utterly pathetic that in selkirk it is $12 for a 5 year old.
No other rink has done this as far as i know.
I thought kids over 6 being $8 was ridiculous but this is wow beyond ridiculous. |

14.00 for an adult and 10.00 for a student, so if you paid 27.00 you better let your 5 year old handle your finances. He's likely smarter now then you will ever be. |

Great answer, it's obvious he's not as smart as a "5th grader" |

regardless, $14 for a ticket to an mj game is a joke. i wonder if michaud is complaining about the high ticket prices. he did manage to get the best seats in the house though. |

14 for adults

WOW, It's no wonder Selkirk has the best programs in the leaque, They squeeze every nickle and dime from the MJfans so they can buy more top players for next seasons run....Geez, No wonder why were in a recession. The city teams including Selkirk all run on greed. |

We are not in a recession, certainly not in Manitoba. Just an excuse. But I would certainly pay the price for a ticket as opposed to listening to Ray Walker on the Radio. And buy the way, where is BEEF?? |

I find it funny that when I went to the last round game at Dakota, the Selkirk fans were ranting about the $13 cost of a ticket being a rip-off. I guess $14 in Selkirk must be cheaper if you use Selkirk math. What is the charge in Portage? Whatever the cost a Portage-Selkirk game is usually better value than $35 for a Moose game. |

in Portage you should probably pay half of what you pay in Selkirk, because you can only see half the game (on a good day) behind pillars, bad netting and just all around bad seating, not as bad as Dakota but close. So for Selkirk to charge a dollar more and fans can actually have a seat for the majority and enjoy the game I would say the extra dollar is worth it. |

Supply and demand, just like anything else. If you don't like it then stay home and listen on the radio. We'll see what your ticket prices are when you get a new rink. I think that it's awful what you pay in Portage b/c you can't even see half of the game. Seating sucks. |

at least in Selkirk you get a seat with a back that is comfortable to sit in for $14. For $13 at Dakota you get to sit on a 2" x 10" board for 2.5 hours. Figure out which is the better deal. And 2,500 people thought it was worth the $14 ,plus the 200 or so they turned away at the door. Suck it up. |

The prices are the exact same except portage only calls students anyone under 17.. at least selkirk knows people older than that are students too.. Selkirk charges 14 for a adult and seniors are cheaper and students are only 10.... in portage seniors adults and students are the exact same price.... |

If your but fills a seat pay $14. It is decent to cut kids and seniors a break but if you are too old to sit on dad's knee you are taking up a seat they could sell. It is still the best sports deal in the province by far. | |
