Does not matter where you work, as long as you are employed, you get paid. If Management does not like how you are doing the job, you are fired. Still get paid up until that time.

Kurt did not / can not coach...doesn't deserve to be paid.

Then again, Mel didn't earn the money to buy a hockey team and doesn't know sh...t about the game so maybe he should pay Kurt.

He should get paid, even though he didn't really coach the team. In any other job you'd get paid up until the day you leave. But this is just another example of the way Mel treats people. Shouldn't really shock anyone.

Labour laws say you get paid if you are on some ones payroll, lot of employees get paid even if they don't deserve to get payed, some coaches fall into this catagory, but to bad, suck it up and pay them..end of story.

this guy should not get paid, he did nothing to desreve it. all he did was want kids to fight. he would sit in the locker room b4 the games and watch movies. he watched the simpsons movie like 10 games in a row at home lol. he was such a dumb ass. and then one day on a bus ride he put a dog fighting video on. it was gross and f'd up. this guy is a sick ****.

Of course he should be paid and he if wasn't then he should IMMEDIATELY take his claim before small claims or the provincial courts. There are laws in place to ensure that all employees, despite performance, MUST be compensated. If this coach was not paid then it's easy to see why the dismal performance of players and like. Mel is and will be a joke, the laughing "pig stock" of the MJHL but his money put him here and at the very least he will need to compensate the coach and players and what about the host families? that he screwed out of several hundred dollars for whom were never compensated. Pay your bills piggy wiggy, before you're taken to market.
