| So, OCN is keeping Butters by paying him $1500 per month. He should look at the big picture and get traded to the Kings to play in the RBC. Better off in the long run to be there versus a few grand. |

So you're suggesting he just walk out and demand a trade? In that case, every good 20 year old should do that. Stupid. |

For $1500/ mo he better score 70 goals, 150 pts. fight everyone in sight, sell tickets, and wear a blizz logo on his ass. That is ridiculous for junior A hockey. DUB teams don't even come close to putting out that kind of money! |

Butters or lawrence should be traded as they are both puck hogs and only think of themselves. they hurt the team in the playoffs as they didn't want to work together. |

Buternowski had better not have talked to Dauphin or that little word called TAMPERING would come into play. |

butters and lawrence did not ruin the play-offs for the if you look at the stats the 2 combined for 80 percent of the goals and about 90 percent for points |

I am sure the Kings have not talked to him but any player of his calibre would love to play for Dauphin this year. How many kids can look back at their careers and say they have played in a National Championship. 5 teams out of 138. |

butters is a gifted offensive player and when he uses his speed is great in both ends of the ice but and a big but, can he be a team player on a team that only needs a couple of pieces to challenge for the turnbull cup. As long as things were going good for him it was great but as the team improved I noticed a change in his on ice demeaner, with the arrival of lawerence, simms and aime butters started doing things out of character to attract attention usually resulting in a bad penalty. It came to a head in the Dauphin series, I know it was tough for him but in the playoffs it is tough and that was only the first round, reffing, yapping, stickwork do not count in the playoffs whin all you want as fans but certain players have to suck it up they have all summer to repair thier ego, pain goes away a lot quicker when you win. I hope that series made the team grow for this year but....any replies take off the rose colored glasses and be honest with yourself!!! |

you hit the nail on the right the head. Butters is a heck of a player and we`re lucky to have him in OCN but there are times when players like Butters have to suck it up for the team even when things are not going the way they want. |
