The man who tended goal for the Portage Terriers is off to Tampa Bay this summer to try his luck at the Tampa Bay Lightning prospect evaluation camp.

The Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania native went 32-9-1 for the Dogs last season, guiding them to a second consecutive Turnbull Trophy.

The 5'9 keeper was also named the team's Playoff MVP following a stellar postseason performance.

Mountain says he's looking forward to the camp and seeing where he stands against some of the best prospects in the Lightning organization.
Depending on how well things go, Mountain could see himself signed to the team's ECHL affiliate, AHL affiliate or to the Lightning themselves.

Mountain starts his collegiate career in the fall at Northeastern University in Boston with the Huskies.

Mountain is a good goalie. He will be lucky to see the ice @ NorthEastern. His daddy is/was a professional sports agent who probably has a friend in Tampa.

How do you think a lot of these guys get looked at? It's not always what you know but who?? Great opportunity for him regardless of how much playing he gets.
