I just caught word that Billy and Mike Keane are interested in the Steelers coaching job ... any truth?

Also, does anyone know if they have interviewed any potential candidates???

Mike maybe...but Billy Blows

I could see someone hiring Mike, but not Billy, the guy has worked in the league before and sucked royaly.....zero success with both the Blues and Saints...if you are gonna keep recycling crap at least recycle crap that had some actual success.....say Bruce Schmidt for example.

I'm sorry, but just because a guy has played some pro hockey, doesn't mean he will be a good coach. Look at all the successful coaches over the years in this league and very few ( I could be wrong)have had a lot of pro experience.

The above post is kinda silly. Look at the professional ranks, the AHL, the NHL and Euprope, and you tell me now many coaches do not have some professional experience.

Sure, alot of pro coaches also played the game at the pro level, but for every Dan Blysma (Pitt. Penguins) there are hundreds of ex-pro players that would be a disaster if they ever stepped behind the bench...

And there are 1000's of non-former pros that never coach at any level. What is your point? Just because you played doesn't mean you can coach, but it also does not mean that you cannot. A bad fit is a bad fit.

Yes, there are some that never played, but if you look at the coaching ranks, there sure are a lot of players.
