Wight is the best dman there but next would be Linder, Workman, or Ellement then mintenko. If you are including one Dman that could play and could fight, how can you leave the most exiting terrier in 20 years off the list? Lief Thorkelson over Froese in a heartbeat.

The checking line needs some editing too: Cherkas is a great pick but what is yanny doing on that list? Fun to watch fly around but was not that good of a checker and wouldn't be on the top 20 toughest guys to have played for the terriers in the last decade. Leslie wouldnt be in the top 10 either.
these would be the toughest forwards for the terriers in the last 10 years that I can think of Jason Boily, Micheal Stacey, Kyle Minnebarriet, Andrew Cherkas. Pick any of those three. Unless you really want a checker/ agitator on your roster then there is no better than Chris Benias at center.

I forgot about Thorkelson, definitly edit my list and put him in there over Froese. I didn't pick Stacey etc as i was trying to avoid tough guys who only played parts of one season. My D or F lists were not in order of who is best either, all those mentioned are great players.

Guy picking Selkirk should trade Jackson for Blair Hawes and Bestland for Alex Lentowich and Kirk Thompson for Jordy Johnson. With Lentowich and Benson on the team i don't think oyu need Johnson. It does sort of bring home the incredible diference in Selkirk's forward/goalie strength compared to their defence.

Are you sure Andrew Murray played in 2000?

Dan Leslie should be on that list. He's led all of pro hockey in fights the last two years, over 30 per season and just signed a contract in the ECHL.

My team covered best players while in Stamps uniform. Best overall players would change this list considerably.

Barry Brust, Justin Falk, Dalyn Flatt, Rick Kozak, Brodie Dupont, Walker Wintoneak all moved on to WHL and some to higher levels but only played a single season as 16 or 17 year old for the horsemen.

Who cares how many fights Leslie had in the SPHL. When he played in portage he wasnt good at hockey or really that good of a fighter. He obviously is tough now. By your figuring we should put Aaron Asham and Troy Bodie on the roster because they both played games when they were 15 and 16 respectivly as APs. They were not contributors when they played but as it turns out they are the best players to wear that uniform since Rick Blight.

Yes you are right he tried hard, but that doesnt put him on any special roster. There are plenty of guys that try hard on every team everywhere. There are also many terrier teams over the last decade that he wouldn't have made even as a 19 year old rookie. 02/03, 03/04, 04/05 at the very least. Nice guy, tough guy but no where near this group of players.
