As usual on this website, someone's got to come on here and be an idiot right off the bat. It boggles my mind why people can't just be happy when someone in the MJHL gets an opportunity. Instead, posters make rude comments and sound ridiculous. For once it would be nice to browse through this site and not after bother reading garbage.

Team West Camp

July 8 2009, 12:13 AM

Further to the above , we are planning to have a camp in Dauphin toward the end of September. That being said, some funding has been made availible from the NHL and the CJAHL wants Team West to conduct one camp with representation from all the leagues. There would be 42 players brought to a central location if we can make it work. If the main camp goes forward we may be asked to re-visit the thoughts of a regional camp such as the one in Dauphin or others in the other leagues as well. At present central locations that are close to a major airport are being looked at.

The idea of having one camp with the players actually competing for a spot on the final roster is the best scenerio.
