| Hey Dudes;
I heard a rumer that Freightrain Got signed to play pro down south, anybody heard any further news.
Nobody would have guessed, but it seems he just keeps pulling everything off when everybody doubts him.
Kinda like the energize bunny.
If its true those Americans better keep their head up. |

Selkirk Steelers have graduated another player to professional hockey. Adam Larsen has signed with the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL.
Larsen, a native of Port Moody, B.C., tallied 13 goals and 20 points in 54 games last season. At 6-1, 210-pounds, Larsen will be looked upon to provide a physical presence within the Ice Bears lineup.
The Ice Bears are the back-to-back champions of the SPHL.

Congratulations to another character role player. This kid has one of the best work ethics we have seen in Selkirk.
All the best. |

Yeah right,,, those so called semi-pro leagues in the U.S. are nothing more then "slapshot Leagues". The fans come to see Blood on the ice, not good hockey. |

Try lace em up any where down south, call it what you want ... not everyone can do it and it is a hell of a life for a few years.
Just plain bad beak to a good hockey player, good luck lars. |

Adam was a class act in Selkirk last season. Respectful, hard working, dedicated. American fans will absolutely love his style, and his character.
Good luck Adam, tell your brother that Selkirk could use another freight train! |

Good call, I'm sick of his old man pumping up his tires to the media. He is not very good at all. His parents really do think he's going to eventually make it to the NHL - what a freakin' joke. Freight train, my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
