In the words of Weezer...Say it ain't so!

This copied from the Terriers Web Site:

Terrier fans wanting to watch MJHL Rookie of the year finalist Brenden Walker this coming winter will have to travel 75 miles down the Trans Canada highway to do so. Walker has signed on with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. In 59 regular season games last season Walker tallied 64 points, the second most by all MJHL rookies. That pace continued through the playoffs where Brenden racked up 20 points in just 13 MJHL post season games and 6 points in 7 Anavet Cup games. The Wheat Kings play host to the 2010 Memorial Cup next May 14-23 at the Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon. Terrier fans young and old wish Brenden all the best in this next step in his young hockey career.

Good luck Brenden! I hope you stay on the roster all the way to the Memorial Cup, if things don't work out I am sure we would welcome you back with open arms.

Nice try Cherkas, but there's no way Walker's going anywhere.

If you did 10 seconds of research and checked the Terriers web-site (about 2 paragraphs down) you would see this is not a lie, although I wish it was as Walker would have had at least 90 points next year assuming he stayed healthy.

Relax morons walker will be back in portage.the wheaties will not carry 3 17 year olds in the memorial cup year and stone is a veteran and depape will make it over walker.walker is a fringe player who got points playing with the chl player of the year in delong and audino he will not get any where near 90 points,a monkey with a stick taped to his paws could have got half the points walker did playing with those guys lets see how he does when he actually has to go into a corner and get the puck for himself
