likely to Nowhereville for nothing but a bag of pucks.
If the deal is true, the Kings definitely won't miss them. Two plugs that are good for nothing.

Biggers and Borland

August 16 2009, 10:43 PM

Good move for both these guys, lucky them to have a chance to play in the SJHL. tHEY will receive way better coaching in the SJHL than in Dauphin, and the game is faster. Poor kid that has to come here to play gotta feel for the guy. Good Luck boys in the Sjhl we will miss you here

nice try

August 17 2009, 8:17 AM

Nipiwan got hosed on this one. Biggers is an absolute idiot and Brolund is a fourth liner that doesn`t really make a differance in the outcome of games. As for the coach in Nipiwan, he`ll be fired by Christmas. Hawks were lousy last year and looking at the guys they`re bringing in this year they won`t be much better.

Manlee did you say that the SJHL is faster? You are right but how the hell does that help biggers? He could not keep up in the MJHL.

the mj

August 17 2009, 12:56 PM

is probably a faster league than the SJ but the SJ is more of a bump and grind physical league. The MJHL will be very strong this year with the sherwood being a war every night.

Trade

August 17 2009, 5:56 PM

It will be interesting to see which team did their homework on this trade. Miller played 38 games with the Pats (WHL) as a 17 yr old last season. The Pats have a new coach now, and Miller is only 18, so does he go back to the Pats ?? If he does, the Hawks would have lost him anyways, and with this trade they at least arent empty-handed. Meanwhile, the Kings will have given up two players and have nothing to show for them. I'm guessing this will be the case, otherwise why would the Hawks have traded him ??
