| Fire the coach, he's the worst ever. He remains completely emotionless and stares like a zombie into the crowd. His record proves he is awful. The one positive move was to rid the ream of scotty boy unger, now remove the rest of the driftwood, will there be anyone left? |

Check the shots on goal, they were close, it was poor goaltending not the coach that resulted in the 10-3 score. |

10-3 tells me the problem is more than just goaltending. If that is the case a good coach would have the entire team concentrating on defensive play. Where is the backchecking. Seems to me the guys are just doing whatever they want. Shots on goal don't mean much and that is one stat that can be manipulated every which way. |

The goaltender is fine. Really good in fact. He cant' win the game alone. Although if he were ready to throw in the towel 'cause this team is going nowhere with their 0-4 record, could you blame him? |

It's a team game and to try and lay all the blame of a blow out ( and 10-3 is a blow out in any hockey game I have ever watched) is pathetic. If you are saying the blow out hasn't anything to do with the coach I suggest you look at the bombers. Who puts the team on the field and the ice. The coach is the boss and he directs how he wants his team to play. If some players don't buy into the system they are sent packing. So the team is left with POTENTIAL. What a crock. Potential doesn't cut it. It would be nice to see a win once in a while. |

If you lose 4-3 you can blame the coach. If you lose 6-5 you can blame the coach. If you lose 10-3 their is not enough talent to compete and the blame has to rest on someone above the coach. GM, President, ownership....but not the coach in a 10-3 game. |

they will do better this year then last. then next year will be better then this year. get off there backs and judge them 10 to 15 games in. if no wins after that, then they need some serious changes. get off here backs and let the franchise live. |

its just to bad that most people would rather run down the organization rather than encourage them. i really hope the coaches players and every one involved with this team will keep there spirits up and keep putting in there best effort.it would be really cool to see this team be a contender to make the play offs in the next couple of years. and it would be really cool if another community would put together a jr a team and make the division 6 teams. and then we could encourage them and hope for them to do well, but i guess it must be more fun to bitch and complain about people and hockey teams trying to make the mjhl better. |

The MJHL is a sports league and win loss is what puts the seats in the stands. Do you really think that anyone who puts out his or hers hard earned bucks is concerned if the division expands to six teams or not. They want to see their team win a few games and if they don't or can't win then they ask why it is that every other team can win but not the pistons. Is it the fault of the players (poor excuse) or the fault of the coach and his system ( or lack there of) or something else. That is the bottom line. |

or do they think, it must be hard to relocate a team every two years. and hope that they do their best with the tools they are given and build on that for next year, and continue to build the following year. i agree it has been hard to shell out 10 bucks to watch them loose. but i would still rather encourage them than always point out to them every mistake about them and the team. they are doing their best. give em a break. lets just hope that what ever went so wrong last night they can learn from it and do better tonight. they may only win 10 to 15 games all year, but as long as they are putting out an honest effort i will continue to buy tickets. |

I somewhat agree with your premise. It's tough to keep moving a team every couple years but my beef is not about moving the team but about the coach and his philosophy. He got rid of all the veterans and I think that was stupid, stupid, stupid. What did the team get in return for those players. Not a GD thing and now we have a team of young rookies and if the pistons want to get a decent veteran they will have to deal off the best of their rookies. So tell me, do you see this team progressing or regressing. It's obvious to me and it should be obvious to anyone that understands hockey that the pistons are going the wrong direction and that has to be the fault of the coaching staff. |

it is to bad they got rid of the vets, but their behavior wasnt acceptable. if i was billeting one of those kids i dont think i would wanted that kid under my roof anymore. i can kinda agree with them for letting them go but i think mabye they just shouldnt of dressed those kids for a week or two. at the same time i dont know how many chances they had the year before. the one kid actually drove his car into someones back yard and pushed over a few trees. thats kind bad. the team is having a hard time finding billets and that didnt help. |

I will leave it at this. The piston situation is a circus and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. Why is it that other teams can rebuild and prosper but the blades/pistons always flounder in the basement. At the end of last year the blades had a good group of veterans that would be coming into this year and they had about 7 or 8 all star midgets that had been traded for or drafted. This could of been a very good team but the veterans were all dealt off for nothing in return and now there is no veteran leadership. Who is to blame for that. Why did Colin Fay want to be traded. Why was Joe Carney released for nothing in return. Why doesn't Kyle Harty want to play for the team. etc. etc etc. These are the questions that should be asked. |

The veterans left because the clown town, three ring circus continues. There is fault to be found in the coach and management, remember, this "owner" has tried in three seasons to bring in three coaches and none have been successful, although at least last season there was a win or two at this same time and there was entertainment value, PIM. Some of the kids are gifted but there is so much distention and disharmon behind the curtain that mindless pigs would have a difficult time working in such an ewnvironment. The venue has changed, the team has seen change, the coaching has changed and we have the same result. The constant losing element is the management and their inabilities. |

Actually some of those vets from last year were putting up the numbers considering they were on sh*t team. Had they been on a better team, they probably would have had even more points. The organization should have known that it is what you are to build on for the future. You cannot rebuild every year and say oh well maybe next year because its getting old and those vets will be somewhere not necessarily here. |

The vets want to WIN so they left a losing team and organization. I'd rather not play then play for such a team, especially in my final year! |

it's amazing how many people on here have such strong opinions yet know absolutely nothing. anyone who's seen them knows they're better off than last year. they've been competitive in every game but one. yes they should rebuild this year, the attitude of losing that was around that team had to go, every single vet should have been trying out like a rookie for that team this fall, nothing giving to anyone. it's easy to get points last year when you're down 6 nothing after two minutes and even your opponent doesn't care to stop you. the best news of all is that Mel's had his hands forced out of the day to day, i.e. Ungers gone, trades that make sense and a looker room that's being cleaned up. This is basically an expansion franchise now, and treating it any other way would lead to the same disaster they had in beausejour. |

Are you kidding? At least in Beausejour the kids STAYED and played despite alot of crap being thrown at and on them by the M&M show. They had also won a couple games at this point last season and there was a certain entertainment value -- PIM. This year they have NOTHING going for them. NOTHING! Team is as dry as the town. | |
