The "fight" was the game as far as a scoreboard goes, and in that case Neeps won hands down. You cant deny that esposito took it bad, and I hope the kid is okay and will play again soon. The real truth would be Espo had him in a bad situation, but did not respect him enough and let up a bit and eddy supriesed him. Stop under estimateing MJHL players and fight for your life, cause Michaud and McCinnis are gonna put you down if your not ready.
how could you consider that a win for friesen if he didnt throw a punch and just had his head down the whole time? esposito connected a few times and just didnt get the take down and in reality that means nothing

Happens to everyone sooner or later. At least we got to see two good boys doin it for their teams. Good on both of them. Not sure Friesen even landed a punch to Esposito's face. Hit him in the shoulder a couple of times. Esposito looks like he landed one or two in the beginning.
In the end Friesen gets the take down but I doubt either play had sore knuckles or face. If that's what Neepawa fans consider an ass kicking, then they are very deprived. Seen better fights in elementary school.
judging by that link (hockeyfights.com) looks like esposito was a scrapper in the whl, seeing that hes fought names like fraser mclaren who is now up and down between the NHL and AHL with san jose as a fighter, and judging by the video of esposito vs friesen on youtube esposito lost his footing at the end but landed a few solid blows
in the youtube link, someone posted underneath and said "espo dummied him...that guy is a joke". i guess whoever wrote it thought it would be anonymous. however, the name of whoever wrote it shows up as well. this one showed up "esposito6119" haha clueless.
esposito played in the whl michaud is out here to fight esposito can play hockey especially in this league all the fighters in the mj are tough but are awful hockey players
I was at the game and have to give Freisen credit for actually going with this guy. He is a monster, with that being said though it wasn't much of a fight and I think if they were to square off, Freisen would have got his eyes pumped shut. Espo is a heavyweight while Freisen is a middle weight at best.
why would Esposito want to fight any meat head in this league, especially guys like Michaud who cant even tie Espositos skates, Esposito has 5 goals in his last 6 games, 3 game winning goals in his last 4 games.
he's got more goals already than michaud has shifts.
Well from what i saw on the video...looks like Espo mostly punched the back of the kids helmet. that being said..not many punches were landed by either so Friesen wins for the take down!!! Way to go for taking on the "big guy"!
