15 games into the season and Neepawa still has 3 goaltenders. Anyone know what's up with that?

Coach loves to yap about their toughness and fighting. I see they are doing lots of fighting tonight, but are having their asses handed to them by the Blues. Looks good on you Perrier. Keep on fighting.
By the way, running down how Dauphin builds their team will make you popular in the coaching fraternity in Manitoba. Oh, I forgot, you think Manitoba sucks.

schener

October 27 2009, 11:29 PM

Schener may have been better tonight. 2 games in a row that this goalie has been brought into question, never mind before. Schener's cut may be the difference between this team being a legitimate Junior A team and not. 7-1 ouch. One game though.

neeps second

Still should happen. Portage young, Wayway not much there, and SV really!?!?, OCN dysfunction. Neeps 3 years building for this spot, despite left in excellent shape at the point of renewal.

Why do you think that Neepawa, Selkirk and Dauphin got rid of Schenner. Cause he was an awful goalie and his family were always on here beaking.

Ya, truth / beaking, it is all the same to you.
Funny thing about this site (and your comments). If you come on criticizing a kid, you are the 'all informed guru who knows everything'; if someone supports a kid, somehow you HAVE to be a relative. Why else would a person say something positive--couldn't possibly be a fan or someone who has watched the hockey player.

Shenner

October 28 2009, 11:22 AM

Ive followed the league, and the two forums, for about 5 years now, and the last post needs a response. a) I've seen Shenner play, and he was a very decent tender. His 35W - 17L record (69% wins) speaks for itself. b) There was lots of commentary on here after his trades, but that is also the case for lots of events in the league, but I cannot remember anyone posting on here that might be connected to him beaking the team he was on BEFORE he got traded. Besides, this forum is important ?? In what way ?? c) Kelly Andrew spent time in Selkirk, and played a few games while the Shenner-to-Kings deal was being made and arrangements for Armour to return were being finalized(I actually saw one of his games). Did this guy get the idea that he was Shenners replacement, and then Selkirk screwed him over when Armour came back (I remember summer posts on this forum to that effect) ?? I heard he spent all summer "working" with the Neepawa coaches. Is it any co-incidence that in spite of all the "guaranteed" spots he allegedly had, he targeted Neepawa to "try out" (for Shenners spot?). I wonder who would be beaking Shenner on here ?? After Perrier pulled his little "suprise" at fall camp, this forum was pretty interesting...after all, nine guys got bumped off, and a lot of people had opinions. But now, those people haved moved on, and I'm thinking only someone insecure about their current "status" would come on here and beak a guy that is not even around.
