If some of you haven't seen or heard TIM-BR MART is holding a national challenge for minor hockey teams to make a video about who has the most team spirit, and why they should go to see the World Juniors in Saskatoon this December. The Pas Huskies Atom AA team has uploaded a video, and it is up to Canadians to vote which team they think should go to Saskatoon. Presently the Huskies are in second place and closing in on first, they were behind by 1500 points yesterday, but have closed the gap to 700 points by this afternoon. You can vote every 4 hours and have 20 more days to do so. I know this is an MJHL site, but I also know that when it comes to the greatest game on earth, Canada's game, we love to cheer for our local heroes. These kids have put a lot of time in this video and they need our help to make it to Saskatoon to watch their heroes. I have posted the link below, please vote and help these kids........Thank You

I guess it has been awhile hasn't it? I am still alive and kicking, just been on the down and low I guess, I am glad to be back. I saw this video on facebook and thought I would post it on here. I love the hockey spirit in these kids, it's inspiring.

For those of you that have voted, thank you very much, for those that haven't, the link is posted above. These 14 little boys are the only Manitoba representative in this competition. They are currently trailing the first place team from BC by 23 points. Lets help them go to Saskatoon for the World Junior Hockey Tournament, Go Huskies Go Manitoba.

We've got them in first now G force. I will keep voting each day. Good to see young kids doing something positive.

I agree watching these kids doing something positive is inspirational, I hope they reach their dream, and get a chance to watch tomorrow's stars in the NHL in Saskatoon in December. Thank you for supporting them, I know they appreciate it, who would ever have thought that a little town in northern Manitoba could be leading a national hockey challenge. Wow the Huskies are ahead of the Summerland Jets by 1800 points. They are getting awesome support from everywhere. Time to put the pedal down and send these kids to Saskatoon, keep the votes coming

Saskatoon team coming on hard, should take over second place soon and are gunning for the Huskies, although the Huskies have a 10,000 point lead they need to hang on for 9 more days. The amount of support that the Huskies have recieved is phenomenal and is a testament to the passion this province has for hockey in general and support of it's minor hockey. Oops I made an error, the Saskatoon team is in 6th, but are coming on strong, they basically have come out of no-where. They are currently 12,000 points behind the Huskies.

I realize what this site is, I was here when this site started. You speak like minor hockey is nothing, no player would be where they are today without minor hockey, its the grass roots. We do have a big lead now but teams in 2nd & 3rd are catching up. Grande Prairie is one of those teams and they have a big community so it would be easy for them to overtake us.
We are the only Manitoba team and we need everyone to keep voting for The Pas Huskies every 4 hours until Nov 21/09 at 11 PM.

Thank you to everyone that voted for these boys, I am not sure what the totals were but The Pas Huskies Atom AA were over 10000 points ahead when the challenge ended. The site says that it will be a couple of days before the winner is announced. I believe that the Huskies will be going to Saskatoon in December, and it is because people from all over helped them reach their dream. I may be from these boys home town, but like others on this site and other sites, I would have voted for any Manitoba community, this is what pulls people together. Again thank you to all of you that voted for the Huskies, and you are very welcome Bonnie, and by the look of it you are the mother to one of these boys so congrats to you and of coarse to your son, have fun in Saskatoon
