Dont worry theres not enough cheese in Steinbach to go with all the whinning youl be getting from Rutherford. So it sounds like a good deal for both sides.

It did. Anyone that describes Rutherford as having heart has not watched him play. He is one of the "for me" guys on the roster. I know nothing about the player in return but like the trade already. Hopefully the Steelers have learned a lesson or two about bringing in this type of player. Add a bit more grit up front and on the back end and they should look much better.
Gagnon has paid dues in Selkirk and has played better since last year's play-offs started than Alexiuk or Robinson. This year he plays as well as any steeler d. Time to shut up and leave he kid alone.
I tend to agree with the comment above as I too was always ragging on Gagnon the last couple of years, but have to admit he has played much better this year. He will still turn the puck over now and then, as most players will but has definitely picked his game up.
