Tippmann C3 Semi-auto conversion.

by

Some of you may not have heard yet, but Tippmann is releasing a propane powered pump action marker.

seems kinda silly, right? well, yeah. it is. as it is pump action, RoF is limited to around 4bps.

now i got to thinking this afternoon " any pump action can be modified with an Autococker type arrangement...."

so besides the fact that it's inherrently dangerous; does anybody else think that doing a mod like this would be cool?

my idea would to be to mount a ram and a push plate to activate the fuel injector pin (actuated by pumping the marker when stock) in place of the pump handle, fed by a standard 3-way and the pressure would be controled by a fairly standard LPR. the really odd thing is, i was thinking that this might be operated off of a quick changer or 3.5oz CO2 bottle.

i'm working up a design schematic if anybody is interested
