Innocent question

by Anonymous

Let me start by saying I have nothing to do with any entity on here, and neither support or condemn anybody involved.

But purely from a business perspective, how does one get into this kind of mess. The problem with my family's business has been dwindling customer base over the past few years. We tried the whole customer referral only thing, and its biting us in the ass. Unless you have advertisements everywhere and scream about sales, you can't make any business.

Here we have businesses with customers who are willing to pay (to me) huge amounts of money and wait years for their work. I would imagine these guys would be "raking it in" with that kind of support. But they are not, they are struggling, and even dying.

What has gone wrong?
