I've been waiting over 2 1/2 years (not as bad as 7 years, but still a long time). I have paid, in full, for my project (half up front, then the 2nd half when he had financial problems a few years ago). All in all I have $550 invested in a project just to make a marker look cool and perform slightly better. I've been patient. I've been helpful. I've defended him. I also used to have a lot of contact with him through e-mail. The e-mails have stopped, which is fine if he's working, but they've stopped all together. I'm about to move in the next few months and I'm afraid that I won't be able to contact him to get him my new address.

All in all, I'm not happy, but I'm not totally pissed off yet. There's no point in demanding my $550 or my marker back (at the beginning of the year he told me it was almost done) because I know he doesn't have the money and what am I going to do with a half finished marker? I'll be one of those customer sitting around waiting for 7 years just like the other guy.
