1-Stay in contact with customers
2-Give deadlines
3-meet them or reset them
4-deal with the crap politely and stop smart-assing, that's what got him here.
5-Focus, do the fucking work and stop whining
6-Learn from this or get out of the business
7-FIFO. get those old projects done and out.
8-stop feeling sorry for your own fat ass. We all get to middle age if we are lucky and it sucks.
Lastly and this is important. Every customer that just wants their stuff back, send it if you have to pawn the fashizzle stick to do it because a little noise now can go a long way.
Irate customers can drive him from the field or ease off enough to let him focus.
