I agree, in a huge way, because I'm the same way.. BUT, I'm a teacher and deadlines are deadlines.. I've spent a lot of hours awake, drank dozens of gallons of coffee and Redbull, etc. to get a lecture right or a test written.. But the point of the matter is, eventually an outside force comes in and bitchslaps me into order. If I could, I'd teach World History across a two year span because its so interest.. Sometimes you compromise your perfectionism to get things done.. (My filing cabinets are school are -immaculate-... my desk is a pile of paperwork because I haven't had the time to put each assignment in a manilla folder and then into a hanging folder with its own name tab... I ran out of room in my filing cabinet and couldn't get another so I stopped.. It took me 5 hours yesterday to clean my desk out because they're putting in new carpets and they need everything boxed up).. Trust me, I understand how the creative mind works.. But, I also know I am easily fixated on random things.. Case in point? At one time I had 18 guns... I only have 2 hands?! Many of them went to Punisher because I couldn't bear to sell them (OCD, anyone?).. Then my fixation went back to my car.. I now have a garage full of stuff for my Chevelle and my Barracuda again.. Blah.. I'm rambling.. You get my point I hope. It's the "I see what you mean, but cold unfeeling reality sometimes bitchslaps people"..
