Part of what has everyone up in arms now is the whole "I don't have time to answer posts, emails, etc... because I am too busy working on your crap" but he has time to play on the Neon forum. Now, I don't think anyone would deny the guy a right to having a life but using the excuse that he doesn't have any money to ship stuff out while he's spending money on souping up a Neon certainly isn't going to win anyone over. I think most people here can relate to needing a diversion to stay sane. Problem is, nobody knows anything. No one knows how bad his back log is. No one knows where their projects stand. That uncertainty really drives people nuts.
Yes, those damn sniveling people...that paid you to do something. So, if you paid a contractor to put an addition on your house and all he did was rip down a wall after you paid him in full; well, you wouldn't complain. Right? Would that be narcissistic sniveling if you did? Well, you can't please all of the people all of the time and some people you can't please any time. Kinda goes with the territory of dealing with people. Most of the noise does come from a very few people - this holds true for most things. As for myself, this is the first time I have ever posted about about my Projects with Lee. I think you will find most people to be very reasonable as long as they know what is really up. A blanket "I haven't run off to the Bahamas, I'm working on it" won't cut it. An email with project status and maybe some options other than sit down and shut up would be great. Heck, send out a mass email with one or two lines devoted to each person's project(s) if that is easier. Do this once every 3 months and a lot less people will bitch.
