Money OR product, not AND. I'm pretty sure nobody ever contracted him to pay THEM - they paid HIM to do work. Complaining about him being late, have at it, and it might very well be COMPLETELY justified - but anybody who thinks they're important enough to complain about how he spends his money is narcissistic.
