Smart Parts always has pending applications "in the pipe", but this is far more then usual. The reason is that the USPTO is going to be making some MAJOR changes to the patent application process, to make it harder for Smart Parts to do.... well... what Smart Parts does, so they are RUSHING to get there applications in before the changes take effect.
