Yes, it's actually my site. In answer about the Matricies, they're basically the same desing from a functional sense. The main difference is the support features of the two guns, such as the placement of the LPR, how the body is ported, and other things that are secondary to how the firing assembly operates.
If I recall correctly, the bulky DM3 from Dye was a reproduced version of the previous E-Matrix which was essentially the same design except made by a different developer (Matrix experts can correct me on this if it's an incorrect assumption). Later, Dye changed the gun a bit and released it as the Proto-Matrix.

About the Legion Shocker, I of course can't put a lot of emphesis on my own opinion, but I doubt you'd have any problems making a one-off (or even a few one-offs). The only real issue would be if you started selling them en-masse.

SP likes the design but it wouldn't be revisited by them until such time that a heavy market arises for a gun with limited ROF. (so...not for a long time, most likely)
