Where do you get your info?

I know some of the guys that work on polar bear research. Only Canadian populations in the far east are seeing a slight increase while Alaskan populations are in decline. Also, early polar bear data from the 50's and 60's was extremely inaccurate. Even now most population estimates are not precise, but they are much much better than previous years. We are mainly seeing an increase in habitat range due to less winter ice forcing more bears inland.
