Biofuels and the trouble it causes when it comes to a lack of food production in the US already.
Believe it or not, that is just as bad if not WORSE than importing oil. We've lost so much of our farm culture that it's getting to the point we can't provide for ourselves. It's a sad day when a country that was formerly built on farming has to import from other nations.
Honestly, if we lived everything environmentally around the animals, how many of us would even be connected with the internet? How many of us would still have power for that matter? Zero land impact can't be had with an industrialized or technologically advanced society.
We are going to need the oil at one point or another, maybe the Polar Bear Protection People now will start going back to targeting the Ariel Wolf Hunts and leave the rest of us alone.
